Jonathan Lapointe is a doctoral student in Public Health at the University of Montreal’s School of Public Health. He studies the implementation and emergence of health technologies under the supervision of Professor Aude Motulsky. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering from the École de technologie supérieure and a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Montreal. He has a keen interest in the use of information technologies for the benefit of patients and has more than four years of experience as a telehealth technology advisor at the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS. His professional experience and involvement in various Hacking Health events has sparked his desire to find strategies that help patients and healthcare professionals benefit from technological innovations. This has also motivated his decision to pursue doctoral studies and other related initiatives.
